Robin Schindowski works on China's industrial and innovation policy, global technology competition and the impact of China's rise on the global economic architecture.

He is a PhD Researcher at the VIVES Research Centre for Regional Economics at KU Leuven.
​​​​​​
Before KU Leuven, Robin worked at Deloitte as an Industry Consultant, at Bruegel as a Research Analyst and at the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) as a Research Fellow. He holds degrees in Chinese Studies and Economics. He is fluent in Mandarin. ​​​
